Juarez, Mexico

Ethan and
Lindsay Efferson

Ethan and Lindsay were married in January, 2016 and became full-time missionaries in Juarez, Mexico in January 2018. They have two sons Brody and August, and are making a huge impact in Juarez, Mexico. Discover more about their ministry below.

We felt the Lord direct our steps to Mexico.

This is our mission.
This is our purpose.

Over 40% of Mexico is living in poverty. Our mission is to bring lasting change and impact to the children of Mexico. Not only by taking care of physical needs through food and medicine, but by bringing the hope of Jesus.

Through the Lords provision we will be planting churches, opening care points, and making sure no child living in poverty is forgotten. “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40

Meet Ethan

After his first trip to Juarez in December 2015 Ethan knew God was relocating his heart. Ethan made two more trips in 2016 and knew this was home.

Ethan has served faithfully in his local church and various ministries throughout Birmingham. However, there has never been a bigger sense of calling on his life than to Juarez, Mexico.

Meet Lindsay

Lindsay and Ethan were married in January, 2016. Not only did Lindsay say yes to Ethan, but to the purpose God has for them. When Ethan communicated that God was pulling him to Juarez, Lindsay quickly responded yes to whatever God wanted for their lives.

Lindsay is a registered nurse and looks forward to using her vocation to enrich the lives of those in Juarez. She has a sincere love for God and His people, and can’t wait to make a difference in the lives of others.
